How to create a new Instagram account targeting a top USA audience?
How to create a new Instagram account targeting a top USA audience?
Updated this week

Context: You already manage one or more Instagram accounts with an existing audience.

Goal: Grow a new Instagram page from scratch and attract a primarily USA-based audience.

Strategy: The approach is straightforward. Use your existing Instagram pages to promote your new account by doing a share-for-share in Instagram Stories. Include a direct link to your new page via getallmylinks.com/yourpage. Use the geo filter to ensure that only the desired audience (in this case, users from the USA or other tier 1 countries) is directed to your new Instagram page. You can also redirect unwanted audiences to another page, such as a free fans page, or block them entirely!

Step 0: Add your new instagram page on the Main Link

Click the "Create Deeplink" button on the top right of your dashboard or directly click here!

You can choose to create a “Landing page” or a “Direct Link”.

Create a "Direct Link"

Step 1: Access the Geo Filter Feature

  1. Log in to your GetAllMyLinks account.

  2. Navigate to your dashboard where you manage your links.

  3. Edit the link you want to apply a Geo Filter to, and go to Geo Filter.

Step 2 : Add a Location and Redirect

Let's start with India!

  1. Click on Add Location to start specifying where your users should be redirected.

2. You’ll see options to choose the country, region, or city.

3. Then click on Next and select "Direct Link".

4. Save your settings! Congrats now you have blocked India from your visitors!

Now, you’ll need to repeat this process for all the other “bad” countries.

Note: In our next major update coming in early 2025, we’ll introduce tier 1, tier 2, and tier 3 packs, allowing you to block them all at once with just a couple of clicks! Check out our full roadmap here!

Congratulations — you’re now set up!

You can now start growing your new Instagram page with high-quality audience members (i.e., users from the USA, tier 1 countries, and English-speaking regions).
